I just bought an '04 E320 with the 17" appearance package wheels and I'm wanting to get them chromed - has anyone out there done this on their W211 yet - if so do you have photos and what did it cost to do - swap?

You may want to talk to (sakai73) who has chromed dipped stockies -- I think he was looking for a swop.

Dealer wanted over 400 per rim for stock chrome rims. I talked to the parts manager and he told me where they get them done. Its called Wheel Creations in Fresno CA.

I have had 4 sets on various cars and the quality is excellent. They send you the chromed rims, you take them to your local tire shop and do the swap and then send your old rims back to them.

I think they charged me about $140.00 per rim. Here is the number, give them a call. I think they look great. (559) 233-3654

Quality has been excellent and never had a problem with them.
