Missing reserve fuel message

I have a problem with my new e-class.
When fuel is low, there is no alarm message/malfunction for reserve fuel. Little icon next to fuel gauge is on, but no message on display.
Also, when i switch between menus, I don't see "no malfunctions", it's missing from menu.

Is there any option to change this with DAS ?
My car is '06 w211 e320 CDI (224 hp) avantgarde.

Why fuel level sensor? I see correctly fuel level. Also, when fuel is too low, little red icon, next to fuel level switch on.
I don't see only message on display "Reserve fuel".
I think previous owner change something with DAS.

Can you tell me, please, how to check with DAS for level sensor. What to check?

You are correct the fuel reserve indicator lamp lights up when the fuel level goes below a certain level----there is no message or bells and whistles---this can be confirmed when you read the owners manual---what you have encountered is what is call a "frozen evaluation" your buddy tells you about the seat belt chime---then your huge mind says OH there is no chime when the fuel reserve indicator lamp is on---that's gotta be a problem or someone has screwed me!!---you just got frozen!!

I think so, because my previous '02 e-class(w211) has the message. My current e class, which is pre-facelift, only with new engine/gear box, has no such message.

I compare two cars, i see difference, that's why i'm asking for help.

I couldn't honestly tell you if mine has it as I never let it get that low.
Since it is a Diesel I worry about getting below around 3-4 Gallons.

^^^ I always ran my diesel till it was nearly empty. Twice I ran it out completely . It primed itself and fired up just fine.

OP I just remember the yellow/orange light coming on under the fuel gauge on my 2006. The instrument cluster displayed the miles till empty as 0, but there wasn't a special warning that appeared.

PS - my 06 CDI had a 5 speed - does yours have a 7g?

My w211 is with om642 and 7g gearbox.
My previous w211 was '02 e270 CDi - it shows malfunction message, when reserve fuel.

Oh I know they will be fine in that regard but I tend to make last minute trips that are over 100 miles and at 3am in my area finding good stations (tanks turned over often) that are open at that hour can sometimes be interesting.
