Red face Hi, all

I just bought a 2009 E350 and love it. With one exception. The headlight panel is sticky. I've read the Goo Gone will "fix" this. I would like to know how to remove the panel.

Welcome to MBWorld! You mean the exterior is of the lens is sticky? You can try goo gone if there's something on there. It's a solvent that's pretty good at surface removal of residue.

Thanks, AZN Optics, but I'm actually talking about the black panel on the dashboard. I did get Goo Gone and it worked pretty well.

Oh, the interior headlight switch area! ok. You'll want to be careful that the solvent you use doesn't cause the black to fade. Goo Gone has multiple versions and I think the automotive one is safe to use (check label). Either way, I'd do a test spot on a less conspicuous location first to see how the interior panel reacts.
