Exclamation please help.....

i changed my A/C compressor last week, and i replaced it with a manual A/C compressor, so they had to make a personal power switch to turn on the manual compressor and the fan so that it will start to get cold, because the engineer tried to fix it directly so as to work fine with the a/c controller in the dash board area, but it didn't work saying my car wiring system is different.... so recently, i started having problem with the gear, whenever i am driving, the gear just go into neutral, and it won't select to the next gear, so i always try to find a place to park, so as to return it to park(p) in other for me to start the car again, but it will hook on neutral, so i will have to off the engine, so after switching off the engine of the car, the gear will become free and i will be able to return it to park.. so after sometimes, when i try to ignite the car again, it won't start until i give it sometimes, so after 2-3 minutes, the engine will start, and it will work fine for sometimes again... i took it to the mechanic workshop, so as to diagnose the problem, but i don't think they are sure of what the problem is/are.. the gear is working fine, but i don't want anything to complicate the work of the gear, i don't know maybe the compressor is the problem or not..... i will be very if you can help me on what to do... the vehicle model is E320 sedan 2005 model...... thanks

What are the codes?
I would start with checking ATF level.

It is like going to paint store and asking for paint matching your living room and not remembering the paint color.
Did you at least check the ATF level?

This are the error codes: P240C, N15/5, P1856, N/01/KP, 1001. I cheked the ATF level and it's still okay.

FYI the same engines/transmissions were used in several cars, so you can read about your transmission troubles here https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...-p-1856-a.html
The emission code should be secondary at this point.
Still good question if those errors come by coincidence at the time, or did the poor wiring on new compressor messed something up.

Hi, I think it's a relay fuse N/01/KP, I think it controls the ignition and the gear. Guess it's weak or something, I think it trip off sometimes, is it possible to get a replacement?
