Blue Tooth Audio
My iPhone connects just fine to my 2009 E350 bluetooth hands-free telephone system. However, I am unable to play music from the iPhone via bluetooth.
Is there a trick to get it to work? Or is bluetooth music not supported?

[EDIT] Sorry, I had given you some advice, but just realized you have a 2009, which is a different system than my 2008. I assume your '09 has the touchscreen COMAND, Thus, I'll leave the opinionating to those with the newer COMAND system.

Comes to show you. Since I have a 2008, I know hardly nothing about the new, COMAND APS NTG2.5. I thought it was the boy-wonder Comand unit with touchscreen, voice control, rear camera, etc. Apparently not. It seems it still has the same limitations as the COMAND APS NTG1, which does not support AD2P over Bluetooth.

even newer MBs dont come with touchscreen feature for one reason...safety.
OP, try de-authorizing your phone from your comand then turn off/on your bluetooth from your phone then start all over. (might do the trick)
now it doesnt work with my '09 63 (i use ipod for music and bluetooth for calling), does not work with my '10 212 sedan (i do as i do with my 63), doesnt work with my '11 coupe UNTIL i had the comand updated. now it works seamlessly (music and calls).
