Hi all. Just got the Carly app on an ipad and was reading codes on a test drive--2008 w211. Can anyone tell me what all this means? the codes don't make sense to me, except for the misfire code. Thanks.

Is the "check engine" light on?
If it is, it may be worth looking into the cylinder misfires.

Other than that, I'd suggest recalibrating the sunroof/moonroof (do a search on this forum, it seems like a pretty easy procedure with the open/close buttons) will address the roof issue.

The rest of it? Unless you're seeing/feeling a problem, don't sweat it. Check your mirror turn signals. Make sure your speedometer works.

Don't feed the trolls. Sometimes they shower us with extensive knowledge and can be very helpful. Other times, an air of smug superiority seems to overcome otherwise good sense, making their posts more like a golden shower.

thanks....I tried cross referencing the codes off of the MB code list, but they don't match up. It's like the app has it's own codes. I normally use "Dashcommand" for my Trailblazer and Jeep, but it didn't pull any codes out of the MB, so I got the Carly app. So far not happy with it.

Just for kicks (and since I already have an ELM adapter that I use with Torque Pro) I downloaded and ran the app on my '05 E320 CDI. Something like 40 error/event codes came up. My car runs perfectly. I deleted the app.

You've got the adapter. Download Torque, if you like it send the guy $10 and upgrade to Torque Pro. It only does the basic engine codes, but it is honest about it. Still lets you see stuff live/real time too.

thanks. I kind of figured the app was garbage....As far as I know Torque is Android only. I need to get an android device.
