Arrow Adding/swapping in AMG pedals to e350?

I found this thread over at the w212 side:

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...um-pedals.html

They talk about the following pedals that will fit the w211.

Can we confirm that this will work on a 2009 e350?

1. A 170 300 00 04 (accelerator), replace the whole pedal.
2. A 170 290 01 82 (brake pedal cap).
3. A 203 430 00 84 (parking brake cap).
Found this thread:
http://www.benzworld.org/forums/c208...um-pedals.html

He does the following:
230-300-01-04 accelerator
230-290-00-82 brake
230-430-00-84 parking brake

I did NOT go this route as my MB parts person quoted me something like $170 for just the acc. pedal. So, I went the other route which is ordering the circle rubber acc and brake pedal off an SLK and the oval rubber e-brake pedal off the SL. You don't really notice it in my opinion. The numbers for this are:

Gas: 170 300 00 04
Brake: 170 290 01 82
E-Brake: 230 430 00 84
So my next question is when I look at our CLK right now it has the oval aluminum pedals... can I just take them off and put them on the w211? They look identical to the stuff I'm seeing on ebay as far as OEM.

*Note I'm not trying to pose, I just can't stand the crappy looking black plastic pedals in an otherwise beautiful looking car.

Thanks,
-Nigel

Welp answered my own questions..lol

Pulled the pedals right off of our CLK. Took all of 10 minutes, 7 of those being the gas pedal and that silly pin.

w00t w00t for free nicer looking pedals.

Swapped over the black cheap plastic looking ones from the 211 to the 209!

Nice, something to consider in the near future. Very tasteful.

NSG: I ordered a set of the pedals--OEM MB--for my wife's E350 Sport. $103, free shipping. Call it an early Christmas present. Thanks for the suggestion, and please keep us informed of other work you perform on your new car.

No problem! It's a little thing that, isn't crazy expensive and makes the interior much nicer looking if for no one else but the driver IMHO.

I will definitely update once I get these things done. I'm waiting on numerous things now. I need an antenna adaptor for the GPS so I am able to plug my video in for the camera, which is coming from China, so I won't have that for at least a week. I ordered LEDs for the interior which is coming from another country so again, I won't get those for at least a week.

I just bought a C4 mux with laptop yesterday so I can unlock certain features of the car including fuel tank capacity, and various other things, along with coding of the bi-xenon headlights that are on their way. I'm working with another forum member in hammering out 100% adding bi-xenons to factory fitted halogen cars and there is one thing that we need to figure out which I will be able to do this weekened once I bake the factory bi-xenon and see how it's internally wired for the shutter...etc.

The funny thing is I have to backup cameras because I am playing with which one I like the best, and what I am finding out is that I might be able to enable video in motion without having the control box that I purchased and being able to unlock/code it via STAR... if that's the case I am going to sell the entire package/2nd camera that I have so that someone that doesn't have access to STAR will be able to add backup camera and VIM and be done with it.

We'll see though... so much to do.

Honestly not sure on the pedals if they are the same or not. Easiest thing to go by is either how they are shaped or the part numbers.

I know the part numbers that I have listed are different than the AMG pedals. AMG pedals have round circles. The CLK pedals have oval circles. I actually prefer the oval over the circle since everyone has the circles and they seem to be on every MB..lol

I've read good reviews on the ebay ones and the amazon ones that are $30-40. I'm sure the only person that would know they aren't original MB would be you. Anyone else looking at them would think they are OEM.
