2003 w211 need help asap battery dies every couple of hours

I have a 2003 e320 w211 my battery dies every single night or if its off for more than 30 min. The car wont start i need to jump it. What can be the cause of this? I replaced the battery, the AUX battery, my ECU is going bad due to this. jump starting about 3 times a day. Now my fans are running on high everytime i turn on the car. It also says " battery function temp. Disabled " everytime i get it to start.

My suggestion is to remove the seat module fuses.. I think they are #23 (passengers) and #34 (drivers). The fuses are located on the left side of the dash inside the car.

I had this once before and again right now. First time it was the drivers seat module, today it's the passenger's. This car is really a big POS.

Run the car without the fuses. Make sure the battery is charging (car off, key to pos #1, HUD should display the temp in the center, press the reset button 3 times ). You should see a voltage around 14.1/14.2 depending on how fast the engine runs. When you turn the car off, you can check the battery with a voltmeter and it should stay >12 volts overnight. If you don't have one then use the in dash voltmeter. If you don't see the 14+ volts when the motor is running, it could be the alternator.

Try that. The seat modules are a very known cause. If you bring it to the stealer, don't let them charge you $500 to diagnose the problem. tell them up front to check the seat modules. If this turns out to be the problem, the module can be bought from Amazon for $175 and it is a somewhat easy DIY.

Here are all the fuses:

Good luck.

84 300d 2009 e320 bluetec (retired)/, now 2012 E350 4-matic blueefficiency automatic
So far non routinely under 90000 miles on 2009 e320 bluetec
oxygen sensors (twice once under recall and at 80 and 87k)
glow plug module at 75k
turbo charger and clean intercooler. At 85k Don't waste money on rebuilding, just get a new one from the Mfg for $1200.
flapper moter and all the plastic part connected with it
cd is jammed at 70k ( not repaired)
added adjustable camber bolts at 50k due to excessive inner tire wear.

no reported sludge-- need fingers crossed. Change oil ever 10000 miles or more often.

has noticeable turbo lag on passing on freeway

35 to 38 mpg at 80 mph. If slow mpg goes down.
22 mpg stop and go driving.
25 to 28 mpg typical suburban driving

i would not use a 10w## oil for you don't want oil starvation on the start up. Use recommended 0w## or 5w##. The mercedes 30 weight is on the thick end of sae30 and mercedes 40 weight is on the thin side of sae40. The bluetec takes expensive 229.51 or 229.52 oil that's almost twice the price of 229.5 oil.

that was going to be my next suggestion. I also removed my radio fuses, 1 in the trunk and 2 inside the car. My radio has been acting up: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...2003-e320.html

The fuses I removed are:

Inside Dash
Radio: #28
CD Player/Changer: #26

Trunk
Audio Gateway: #6

Try those and let us know.. Good luck!
