Keyless go problem help
Hi i recently bought a 03 e200 kompressor w211
it has keyless go
with 2 keys
an original key
and a key that the previous owner bought and got programmed for the car. its not a smart key for the keyless entry though
so the issue is the new key with the chrome trim works n starts the car when u put it in and turn it its not keyless go
but the original key the keyless go 1 locks unlocks the car, trunk and even the keyless go doors work with it so does the trunk but when i try to start the car with it doesn't turn more then position 2 and when i press the push start button with the key in my hand it makes the click and tells u its connected but then i get red lights stating srs abs esp and when i try it again it says more shifter to p or n and the shifters allready in p and the instrument cluster remains red until i get pissed of and just use the non keyless go key n just start the car manually
what's the issue. I would like to know if there's an easy solution before considering i have a bad key n getting a new key worth 60k
Thanks in advance

It does the same when the key inserted and the push button? like the same srs abs and move to p or n?
Seems like that key checks for another parameter that the other key doesn't being the keyless go key. But the other key has to check also if the gear is in p or n, weird.

2 keys
Well ik its confusing
the original keyless go key does that when push start is pressed
when its inserted it doesn't move beyond position 2
So no starting but the locking unlocking works both keyless n key buttons
the other key is a replacement key bought and programmed to work with the car by the previous owner however the dealer told me that the previous owner bought the normal key n not the keyless go key to save money n thought it would work as keyless but it didnt when it arrived.

I've heard several different posters with the same issue say it was caused by a bad or missing relay. Let's hope this is the issue as that would be pretty simple to fix..
