P0353,P0356, P0016 codes

2007 e350 RWD
P0353,P0356, P0016 codes
Hi,
First post here..and hoping for pointers on a odd issue.
Saw the check engine light and hooked in my scanner. Saw the codes P0353,P0356, P0016 codes .
Took it to the independent mechanic, who spent 2 hours trouble shooting without finding root cause.
Switched the ignition coils / spark plugs but still the code P0353,P0356 persists.
Replaced with new camshaft magnet and sensors but still the code P0016 persists.
BTW, had the same issue last year around this time and so we replaced the ignition coils/ camshaft magnet and sensors. Code went away then but not now.
Any ideas on where to troubleshoot ? Thanks for pointers.

I don't know, but you have a typo in your profile for the car. It says e250 instead of e350. Also add your location while you're at it. Knowing what country you're in can help sometimes.

I believe there was one post from someone who was past the past the balance shaft issue where it turned out the chain was stretched. Not very common but possible if the vin is past the balance shaft issue. The 2007 may or may not have the issue, all the 2006 have the bad balance shaft. Could just be the magnets too.

had the balance shaft replaced in 2012 when it had about 50k.
replaced cam shafts / iginition cool last year.
took it to the dealer today and they wanted $160 to diagnose. Said fine do it. Then they said they wanted 7 hrs additional Diagnosis to pin point the issue !
They suspect it’s a timing issue and it could be timing chain, balance shaft or ECU. They might to replace each one in order. BAM a little floored.
