2004 E55
Bought my first Mercedes.......
Hello all. This is my first post. I just bought my very first Mercedes this past weekend. A brand spanking new 2004 E55 (Black with GPS). My God this is a wonderful car!!
I can't quite tell if it is as fast as my 2000 C5 Corvette (with heads and cam), but I'm going to use my G-Tech Pro to find out soon enough.
Are there any simple mods that every E55 owner "must" do to their car.....or should I just leave it bone stock?

Congrats on the purchase! Keep in mind there is another forum dedicated just to E55's. You will likely find a bunch of folks that swapped out pulleys and ECU's, etc. I've driven a couple of E55's and that power is addicting. Have fun!!

Congrats on your new E55!
Stage II heads/Cam C5s are nice......I miss mine.
You might want to check the E55 section but I think you can swap air filters and change the driver side snorkel tube to the S Class (W220). Too bad there isn't a easy bolt on mods such as air induction kit (Vortex, Halltech, Vararam) like the C5.
I see you're 2thDr on the CF.
