Replacement Seat upholstery
Is there an affordable option available for replacing the bottom seat upholstery? I see gray and beige but it doesn't appear to match the stone interior on my e320 cdi.
Can't justify paying 10% of the cars value on an oem seat cover
Any help is appreciated!

Try World Upholstery at 800-222-9577, www.worlduph.com. I ordered some MB Tex from them; they'll even send you a small sample to confirm your color choice.

I have the same stone interior and the official PN is A 211 910 87 92 8J72. I thought about buying an aftermarket but I had to give up and got the OEM for about $500. It has a lot of different things under that do not come with an aftermarket. However, if you do not have seat heating and cooling and dynamic seats then aftermarket may be a solution.

My 04 E320 wagon, has stone leather interior, with heated, ventilated, Dynamic seats. It had some small splits developing in seat bottoms only. Got these in Grey Leather on the Bay last Spring, and just used them as quality seat covers that I installed over the existing seat bottoms, since I rarely use heaters. Wife does use her seat heater all the time (on high setting) and tells me my new covers work OK for her, but seat bottom does take longer to get warm than her S class. Duh! Dynamic and seat back heat is unaffected. Not a perfect color match but close enough for me and looks much better. I contacted the seller to haggle the price & he came down a bit based on purchase of right & left bottoms.

Beware that the seat skins have different shapes and different material depends on the options. I bought skin on ebay and turned my dynamic seats had additional stripe of skin on the side. Took it off from old seat and went to boat upholstery shop to sew it.
Not only they charge me high premium for the job, but did not do it right.

Mine fit just fine, no problems. But, I also experienced similar problems from a Salem "vintage car upholstery" shop that did a poor patch job on passenger(wife's, SWMBO) seat bottom and damaged the seat mechanism to boot. I had to repair her seat frame adjuster to make it work properly again, and thankfully she is quite happy with my new covers. Don
