Dustless brakepads
Are their dustless brakepads available for this car? I have to use them on my BMW cuz the brakedust on these german cars is a bit ridiculous. Plus if you have chrome rims the brakedust will ruin the finish right?

the only other pads ive heard about are mintex, they are supposed to reduce your brake dust, you can search for it, and prolly find some info. also, we have chrome rims, and of course have brake dust, but i put some zaino on my rims to protect them, and we havent had a problem yet. GL

There was a thread about this a little bit ago, and it was determined that finding a proper solution for our W211's with SBC was not an easy task. To change the brake pads, you need to do other things with the SBC system, which a lot of dealers will not do. Good luck, but I think we may be stuck with the stock.
You may have some better luck trying to get the E55 brakes put on, but I have no knowledge of what this involves, whether it is possible, price, etc.

What does Zaino on the rims actually do? Does it help prevent the brake dust from sticking to the rims? I can wipe my rims down clean, and after one day of driving, I'll have a dust film all over them once again.
