09 E350 sluggish start up

Hi guys I have a new to me 2009 e350. It's cold here in NJ and when I start the car in the morning it's a pretty slow and sluggish start. Turns over fine but almost seems like something is going to go bad soon lol. I don't know when the last time spark plugs or battery was replaced. Any opinions?

Anyone have a cost on new battery? Or sparks?

Any local parts store can load test your battery so you can have it tested to rule that out. Do that first. Plug intervals are every 90k, they typically can go a little longer but should be changed either way every 90k/7yrs to avoid any risk of seizing in the head

My mistake the car has a 1 year old Bosch battery. Doubt it's that. I'll take a video in the morning of the start up. Maybe this is normal or how it's supposed to be. the car is nearly 10 years old I should expect it to fire up like a newer car I suppose. I also don't have to much of the older service history I have from about 130k to now @ 170k and no mention of spark plugs.

Well it's probably time for spark plugs again. I used NGK laser platinum 4288 on mine, about $8.61 on rockauto.com, you may want to search to see if it's cheaper somewhere else. You can also switch to the temperature display with the key in the ignition switched to the on position but not running and hit the reset button 3 times. That should display the battery voltage. If it's low, maybe you just need to charge it up.

Post a youtube clip of startup?

I doubt spark plugs have anything to do with startup, but worth a shot, they are easy to replace and assess their condition.

parking car in the garage helps

maybe the second has to be replaced?

I have the same car as you ISO ( in search of sunrise?)

Here's a YouTube clip. Not sure why it's so blurry What do you mean by the "second"
