Ehhhhhh I'm not feelin' that mounting/dash kit for your headunit. Should have went with something that is more consistent with the vinyl dash or birdseye maple. Looks like a bit of wrinkling towards the bottom corners of the headunit. Love how your amps & subs are inconspicuously placed in the trunk though.

And the point of this exercise is??? Eardrum busting sound? Highly accurate reproduction?

OGBenzo, No offense. But I think you should have the stereo shop re-do the piece that surounds the head unit. It looks cheap the way it is right now. Try Plexi Glass with the back side painted black or silver.

Have a piece on order

I had a piece from Germany on order, same black maple as interior, but it takes 6-8 weeks to get. As for the pods, it is better staging in the front. I disconnected the rear speakers. If you talk to any audiophile, he will tell you that pods give the best sound reproduction than door speakers. Plus I couldnt fit the aftermarket 6.5 in the kickpanel, there is a 8" sub in the door. You kinda have to listen to it to know how good it sounds.

dude, your car is awsome, but I think you went a little overboard w/the custom stereo, just my $.02 obviously its your car and u can do whatever, but I would've gotten a command retrofit and not messed with the stock-ness of the headunit (sorry, but judging by the pics, your headunit needs help IMO);;; the stealth trunck install is awsome w/the hidden amps and sub though
