Transmission fault:p2767
I used an app called Carly for Mercedes. It gave me a pretty good diagnostic on my car via obd reader. I attached a code related to the transmission. I sometimes feel a clunk when letting off the gas but only when I'm sport mode. When in comfort mode it's pretty much normal to me. Worried this code means valve body or something related needs replacing. With the amount of miles I have (175k ish) I'm told replacing trans fluid could cause issues. Any advice?

If you have a 7 speed transmission, then you will need a new conductor plate. Best thing to do is either take it to the dealer or find an indi shop that does Mercedes. Here is the catch, if you go to the indi shop, they will need to be licensed through NASTF in order to buy the conductor plate. I do these plates for $1300 out the door. Reman conductor plate, filter, pan gasket, valve body bolts, pan bolts, fluid, programming and coding.

1300 dollars sounds like a ripp off 1st class m8.

Do you even know what you are talking about? I am talking about the 722.9 transmission control module/conductor plate. Just the re-manufactured conductor plate alone is $440 list price and it does require programming, SCN coding, personalizing and activation!!!

Again, I could care less about your opinion. Do your research and you will find out!!!! I am just giving the OP needed info on what his choices of repair are. Dealership price on replacing the 722.9 conductor plate is over $2k. Just because you change the oil and filter on your car doesn't make you an expert. So say what ever you want to say, I am just going to ignore you.

I would keep it simple (and cheap) at the beginning - check the sensing surface for metal abrasion and replace the Y3/8n2 speed sensor. You find videos on YT. Before draining the fluid be sure you'll be able to get it back in
In case your E350 is a 4matic equipped with the 5-speed: replace conductor plate (cheap, no TCU built in) and "pilot bushing". Refilling no problem there.

It's most likely the TCC lockup solenoid. Of the six solenoids in the 722.6 the TCC solenoid sees the most wear. Unlike most automatic transmissions the 722.6 locks up the torque converter in every gear. The TCC solenoid is not an expensive part I got it for $28. But it's one of those "while you're in there" situations. If you're going to replace the TCC solenoid you might as well also replace the conductor plate at the same time and the filter and there are some rebuild kits for the valve body that you should probably do at the same time too. I did mine at 174000 miles.
At the 5-speed, the sensor is part of and sits in the middle of the (inexpensive) conductor plate - so simply change the plate an the problem should have gone. All the solenoids can be reused.
PS: You can see the built-in speed sensors on the foto in post #5 (shows a 5-speed conductor plate) - the two bumps on the rounded part on left side.

P2767 code has NOTHING to do with the lockup solenoid, it surely refers to the speed sensor.

Inever said anything about that code, I was talking about the jerkyness. DO NOT reuse the TCC solenoid at 175k miles.
