No.
1. The commonalities far outway the difference (engine).
2. We all benefit from the postings.
3. There is less redundancy.
Establish a new Forum for the CDI and inevitably you will have duplicate threads for common (shared between all E's) issues, one in the CDI Forum and another here.
My $.02.

I have to agree with Miguk_Saram. Leave the platform forums the way they are grouped under the AMG, Sedan, Coupe, etc. headings.
It might make sense, however, to set up a Diesels forum in the Technical Forums group. That way, all the diesel owners would have a place to compare notes on their engines no matter the platform.
