My E55 Wagon has been missing a trim piece since I bought it used earlier this summer. I have been searching all over but I cannot find out its name or part number. It is the the cover for the motorized luggage cover motor. Its a square cutout on the headliner in between the two rear ceiling speakers. You might say "hey, I've got a wagon and there is no access hatch there" You may be correct. From the best that I can tell only wagons without the power lift-gate actually have this access cut out. I have no idea why it is dependent on that since both configurations still have a the motorized luggage cover.
If you have this access cover can you please check it for a part number? or does it have a name that I can search for? anything will help.
I have looked online through as many pictures as I can find trying to identify this. I looked through all the pictures and videos of every single W211 Wagon that has been listed on Bring a Trailer since they have a ton of pictures of each car. But this is literally the least photographed area of a car or the car has a power lift-gate and doesn't have the access cover. There was one walk-around video linked below which has a glimpse of the cover at 2:05 but that is all.
That is very odd that that is what it is listed as... No idea why. My searching online has the same part show up as the lower seat belt cover on a unimog.
