Illuminated Door Sills....
My mechanic just dropped off my car with the new door sills installed. Took two pics before the battery of my camera died. Anyways...here are two pics. If anyone is looking to get them....I say go for it...it looks sharp!

Those are awesome ! Give us the details- Where did you get them? What had to be done? Install costs? I bought a set off E-bay and dealer refused to install. Who did yours?

Thanks

Here are some more pics I took tonight. I was going to take some pics today but took the "S" to work instead. I'll take some daytime pics tomorrow.

Are these sills from MB or aftermarket. Regardless, where did you get them and how about contact information?

yeah personally I think I would just get the aftermarket ones if I could do it all over. I bought the dealer installed ones, they charged me 700 for sills + installation. To my suprise when I picked up the car they only installed the front 2. The OEM ones dont even come with rear illuminated sills which is totally beat and the ones for like 500 cheaper do. I had the aftermarket ones on my S class and I think they were even better than the OEM since the metal actually extended over the top so the carpet didnt get dirty.

The door sills look great. I got a pair fairly cheap on ebay. It's a pretty straight-forward installation, for mercedes. i.e. you don't need any special tools, or have to remove a million panels. I wanted to install my amp myself but for the life of me couldn't find the wires carrying the audio signal. Of course I could just be retarded... Here's another pic of the aftermarket sills on my car...
