Box of bungie cords (about 2 dozen various sizes) at Costco, Sams Club, etc runs about $14.99....

You would go through all the trouble of ordering from somewhere else, going there to pick it up or getting shipping to save $15?

I would just gget the proper one from the dealer. I have it and it works amazing for a lot of stuff..

I also have the rear one as well and that is great too..

I suggest you buy directly from your Mercedes dealer. Have them install it for you too even though they may prefer not to. My car didn't come with the proper hooks to anchor the net on. They installed something much more substantial at no additional cost.

I bought my side net from a dealer that gives MBCA (Mercedes-Benz Club of America) members a discount on parts.

They do require proper hook ups right? I try to see if there is any hooks or **** for installation. But I don't see any..... I guess I am stuck w/ spending $40 on net? ALSO! how come the old W210 net only cost $20? will they fit on w211? I can't imagine the size being tooo different.....

The net comes with 4 hooks that you use to replace some removable buttons in the trunk. The installation took me less than 10 minutes.

ha ha!! everyone! I GOT ONE FOR FREE!!!!! I brought my car to the dealer to get the brake fix today and I decided to spend that $40 dollars to get the net. The dealer kept messing up by getting the wrong parts... (3 times by the way). They decided to give me that net for free to compensate the time I wasted. I don't really mind. the dealer is only 1 mile away from my work!! he he.
