anyone know the best way to release the clips at the back of the carrier plate?

they do not seem easy to release. there are two holes per clip on each side and i'm wondering if i pry towards the trunk lid or away from it.

that's not very helpful though. i tried the screwdriver but it didn't really work. i don't want to break the back clips prying too hard.

i will try again but it doesn't seem that easy. there are two holes per side and it seems like you need to use two flatheads.

i'll ask my buds for some help when i finish up this stuff tomorrow. really annoyed by the back clips.

got it done.

clips are annoying. you're going to have to mangle the entry points.

whatever. it's all good
