Left key in the trunk. 2003 E500
Hi there,
I have a 2003 E500 which i have recently removed the rear trunk battery and accidentally left my key fob in the trunk itself. How do I have open the trunck again, Pls help.

Is there power in the car? Does the trunk release button inside the car work? Or maybe it's time to call a locksmith. I don't think AAA would be able to help because they usually just slim jim open a locked car, not sure they can do that to the trunk. If you don't have an extra key, you can just order the mechanical key from the dealer, cheaper than the entire fob.
