Will 2003 E55 rims fit on a 2003 E500?

Is it a direct bolt-on? Is the offset correct? Or do I need spacers. My car is lowered about 2"

Thanks

I have them on mine '04 E500 with no additional spacers. Lug nuts are even the same. I believe the off-set is the same, but I couldn't tell you for sure. Mine is lowered about the same as you can see.

Sorry the files were so big, but I was too lazy to resize them.

How did you lower the car, through StarDiagnose?

Yes, the color of your car is great..

Thanks!

I lowered it using the TWS brackets in the front, and by moving the sensor in the back. I have always lowered my cars using lowering springs of course. When I first was doing research on lowering the airmatic, the threads I found only pertained to these techniques, which made sense, and didn't know about the lowering modules or StarDiagnose.

Given that, I'm not sure I would change anything, however. The mechanical lowering is so easy (and easy to reverse). When you think about it, the two ways are essentially doing the same thing, tricking the system to reset the ride height (one mechanically, and one electrically). Hence, if failure is to occur because of the ride height, due to valving or whatever, it will occur anyway regardless of whether you set mechanically or electrically. I could be wrong of course.

I bought these for about $2300 brand new with contisport contact 2 tires. I thought it was a decent deal, but I really didn't shop around that much except perhaps about an hour on the internet.

Thanks Lionhead! At the time, I had just bought Charcoal colored floor mats to replace the ash colored ones. The mats don't come with the button snaps for some reason (which seems kind of dumb to me). Anyway, I was trying to figure out how to cut and align the damn holes for them.
