E500 engine tune budget.

Greatings,

i have decided to tune my e500 2004 engine and i’m looking for 200hp more, it has 300 stock.
my budget is limited to 2000$. Is this project feasible?
the car has already the e55 brakes and suspensions but also an sl55 differential and trani.

That set-up would give you approx 50-100hp and then you begin your ECU tunes or dyno tunes from there and exhaust mods and replace engine/transmission internals to sustain the power.

I think you're looking at an expense of around $5-7k to gain 200hp.

Friend of mine bought a supercharger for his Subaru BRZ which cost him, dearly, $4,500 alone in parts.
