i have decided to tune my e500 2004 engine and i’m looking for 200hp more, it has 300 stock.
my budget is limited to 2000$. Is this project feasible?
the car has already the e55 brakes and suspensions but also an sl55 differential and trani.

Gaining 200hp on $2k budget? On a NA engine? Not even close. I don't think that's doable with the turbo engine. My CLS is twin-turbo, cost me $1100 for ECU tune and gained me 125hp. I'd need to go Stage 2, additional $1k-1500 for downpipes and labor, to gain abt 30-40hp. That's totaling say 165hp for around $2,500 ish. Then I'd have to add Meth/Water injection kit, $600-800 parts+labor, to add maybe another 40-70hp. That's total of 200-230hp gain for $3k ish. That is while having 2 turbos. For you, you'd need twin-trubo set-up or a supercharger which will begin from $3k to idk what price and add the labor on top of that. That set-up would give you approx 50-100hp and then you begin your ECU tunes or dyno tunes from there and exhaust mods and replace engine/transmission internals to sustain the power.
I think you're looking at an expense of around $5-7k to gain 200hp.
Friend of mine bought a supercharger for his Subaru BRZ which cost him, dearly, $4,500 alone in parts.

Fairly easy to get power out a V8 by just shaving a bit off of each head you get more compression, but be careful as you get alot of power & the rest of your engine internals weren't built for that stress unless you balance & blueprint the engine with billet & forged parts.
