Exclamation 722.6 Transmission Jerks at Slower Acceleration When Shifting

im having issue with w211 e220 2004 722.6 shifting when cold sometimes it shifts first gear nice sometimes it jerks if the car stays for a few days , first 2 shifts are more harsh than others and there is rpm drop when it jerks you can hear like a vibrating or rumbling noise from the transmission when it jerks and when stopping its vibrating when its cold oil, the rumbling noise happens always at 37-38km/h when the oil is cold then i thought my motor mounts are bad which they were changed them but there is still vibration from transmission when i let go of the gas and rumbling noise so now i know its from transmission seems like there is not enough oil providing when cold i changed oil and filter its good i changed also the pwm solenoid which made transmission shift better but still not as good as it should what should i check next?

My 04 E320 with 187k miles does the same thing, I went through the same process with new solenoids, rebuilt valve body. It still does it. I think it's a failing transmission oil pump. Nothing I can do about it except change out or rebuild the trans. It's not worth the effort. The transmission works perfectly fine the other 99% of the time. It only does it 1-2 shift when it's cold right after start up.

TCU is dry, wiring harness is dry, plug and conductor plate are both new as of 2 years ago when I went through the process.

My 04 320, 110,000 miles, does the low speed jerking but only when cold. I flushed the transmission fluid and refilled, helped a little but still does it periodically when the engine is cold. After warmup it's fine.

Strange.

I have had my E500 for over 5 years now, currently at 242,000ml. My Transmission has always done this on a cold start. Once warm all is fine and solid. Crazy issue...

Yeah I did those sleeves with the sonnax kit. It fixed some other shifting issued namely with the lockup torque converter but it didn't resolve the post cold start jerkyness. The problem is wear in the transmission oil pump. Short of dropping the transmission and swapping out the oil pump there's no solution to this.

Try this. Start the car cold, let it idle in D for a minute then drive away. Is it driving and shifting much smoother than after a normal cold start? If it is, the problem is lack of sufficient oil pressure after a cold start. The oil pressure is ramping up slowly.
