Mesh cargo holder front passenger seat?

On the w210 e-class, there is a mesh 'bag' on the left side of the passenger leg compartment in the front seat - perfect for storing some cd's or an umbrella. I've found the w211 doesn't have this, and wondered if MB or anyone makes this as an aftermarket accessory? Thanks in advance.

hmm, thats wierd, maybe MB got rid of them, because on our 03, its there, the netted rectangle, right? even on 04's, i thought they were there. MB might of got rid of them for 05, because MB did take a lot of things from the E this year, this might be one of them. hopefully they do sell it at the dealership or something. GL.

This is on a 2004 E320 4matic. Definitely not there. Any idea how it attaches?

It's on my 2004 E320 produced in March 2004.

I believe it's on a friend's 2005 E320 CDI.

My car also has the net... I'm thinking MB figured there wasn't ample room for it because the 4-matics already have less leg room for the passenger in this area because of the extra equiptment for the all-wheel differerental ???

The net is deleted on the 4matic models. Mine is an 04 4matic and does not have it. I believe there are some old posts on this.

Why the angst over this? Where are you folks posting from, if not US?

Look at your respective MB country web site. For the US under "interior features", it says it's standard.

You didn't receive one? Did you ask your selling dealer?

My 2004 E500 4MATIC does NOT have the net. There appears to be a bit of a bulge there, as I believe HELL ONA HARLEY suggested.

yes! that is one deletion that i completely understand on the 4matics. all w211 4matics do not have that net, as i understand. there is already space taken up by the drive train!!

have you tried using the container below the driver's seat? or emptying the first aid kit and using the container below the passenger seaet?
