I'm looking to replace mine but I cannot find Genuine Mercedes unless I buy a kit from eBay that comes with both left and right side links for $499.
Cheers
They're probably the OEM maker of the bar. But you can also get it directly from a Mercedes dealer although you would only get a 2 year warranty and FCPEuro gives you a lifetime warranty. Include your VIN to make sure that is the correct part.
Thanks C.
Lifetime warranty is a beautiful thing. But what if FCP EURO runs out of the part two three years down the road?! Does that happen? Anyone know?

That's a good question, guess you'll have to ask them. But I get the impresion that they get some of their parts directly from the MB dealers and then mark it up a little so as long as the MB dealers carry it, they will probably carry it for a while. The only problem with their warranty is that you have to ship the old part back so imagine the shipping cost for the old bar.
Almost dismissed that part. I’d imagine it would still be less than the part itself. I’d feel more comfortable going genuine I suppose.
Thanks again!
Lots of times they sell OEM versions of the original parts and I think VME makes other parts for Mercedes so it's possible that it's an OEM part, it's not like there are too many other options out there. The real question is whether you think you'll need another bar in 2+ years. If not, get it from MB, might be cheaper although those MB dealers charge shipping and FCPEuro does free shipping so it might be a wash. You can ask them if VME is the OEM maker of the bar. Lots of times they get both and know whether it's the same or not.
Old stabilizer bar came off. Both rubber bushings were completely detached from the bar and squealed when I would turn it by hand. Definitely the culprit over street bumps during cold weather Drove me crazy this past winter! Sounded like a beater.
I went the FCP Euro way on the bar due to the harsh roads here. VNE Automotive seems to be pretty legit. I’m thinking the rubber on the bars will only stick for so long after being exposed to freezing weather year over year as well.
I’ll post a pic once I receive the new VNE bar in a day or two. Meanwhile the pic of the one that came out.
Just curious to know how long it took you to take out the front stabilizer bar.
Is the procedure something like this? Place front of car on jack stands, remove front wheels, remove lower engine cover, disconnect stabilizer bar links at the bottom (no need to disconnect it at the top), remove bolts holding bar bracket, remove bar?
I'm about to do the same thing real soon and wanted to get an idea of what was involved.

Your procedure is spot on. The only time consuming part, aside from prep, is removing the top bolts from the brackets due to a tight spot. I managed to get them off with a hex key pictured and some finagling (more so on passenger side).
All in all those top two bolts took about 15-20minutes total as I was going slow and steady trying not to strip them but you may have better luck. I used that metal bar on the hex key for leverage to break them free first. Once they break free they come off no problem.
best
