My start/stop button stop working, but I was still able to start the car with the key. Now I'm unable to start the car using the key. When I put the key in
everything seems fine,(lights come on) but the key will not turn. So the start/stop button isn't working and I can't start the car with the key.

Try second key. Only one key since malfunction escalated to both button & key, vehicle is KG, and lock/unlock is fine one scenario ‘could’ be left rear door control module not properly communicating with key. Definitive diagnose you will need to have someone pull fault codes using MB diagnostics. Rather replace parts than diagnose start with module, provide VIN so I can pull part # to shop.
