Trans In Limp Mode (no upshift 1-2)
I bought this 06 E350 -WDBUF87J86X180971 in Dec 2019. In Feb of the following year the cam follower problem started but after talking to 2 MB personnel I decided to drive it like it is. I drove fine for another couple of months when it started limping. Code:P0705. I put a used shifter in and replaced the ATF and Conductor Plate. I still get the same 705 code afteer clearing the codes /(even though I'm told is not necessary), So the code says it's a Speed Sensor error.
i called the MB dealer who told me they don't Troubleshoot and repair & their only solution (over the phone) is to replace the transmission.
Ok, (finally!), my question - is it possible to bypass the limp mode? Also, some T'Shooting says the TCM is bad but after looking for it in the pass. foot well and everywhere else I could think of, i cannot find it.
any suggestions? Thanks!

- how did you run the adaptations for your replacement valve body conductor - Successful ?
You know these tranny need Xentry tool to massage parts "drive authorization" right ?
I have not heard of any honest way to bypass "limp-mode", so I am going to say read the DTC's in search for clues... "Shaft speed sensors" cause that but yours are new, so double check adaptation status.
Sludge from the clutch frictions is what jams the solenoid screens. TCU adapts to lower pressures until it can't.
The sludge from ferrous clutch plate gets caught by pan magnets and the magnetized speed sensors
😊
