If they ever co-marketed caskets with Mercedes-Benz, they would begin "decontenting" and you'd probably have to buy the handles from an aftermarket supplier. ...and they'd remove the arm rests... ('05 W211 people will understand)

Its funny how the caskets are located at Costco's website in the directory called:
"Hardware & Outdoor Living\Caskets\"

I love Costco.

No need for a casket though. Cremation

What makes me laugh is that there is a 3-day wait for airfreight delivery after your order is placed!

Then consider that whoever buys that, would be buying it for himself or someone else who's already dead! Not unless of course you want a casket in your storage for future use.

Why store it? Use it now and use it for eternity.

Not to mention the one in the picture is actually the top of the line model so the one's for sale don't come with the satin lining. And you have to pay extra for the metallic paint colors.

I notice that they want family members to consider the "personality" of the deceased when making their selection of style. Me, I'd prefer the SL65 AMG model so I can get where I'm going in a hurry!

Wasn't there some guy a few years ago who had himself buried in his beloved Cadillac? They bulldozed a big trench on his ranch, put the car with him inside it in the trench, and bulldozed it over.

Costco and MB should do a package deal on Euro delivery program. "Get a Benz, get a casket. Benz is for you, casket for your ex-wife/ex-husband. "
