Differential aspect ratio problem
Hello Guys
Did anyone successfully solve this problem? I install rear differential on my 2007 S211 220CDI 125kw from 2007 W211 220CDI 125kw. Differential aspect ratio on S211 is 2,82 and 2,65 on W211. Now i facing the problem with automatic gearbox which goes to the safe mode. I did not do this by mistake, there is a purpose. I do lot of milleage without heavy load and and this aspect ratio diference makes a change in fuel compsuntion.
Any experience can be useful, thank you.

This place is a joke.
You will have to find a tuner to change the gear ratio in your transmission control unit, if you have the 722.9 7 speed this may not be an easy task. The 5 speed can be tuned for the different gear ratio as well, you would have to send your TCU to a tuner.
