PCV centrifugal bolt

here is another thread with proper documentation for that job https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post8522184
If the bolt you see in your photo does not look like the one in the documentation posted in that thread, someone has been there before and it must have been changed. I would be surprised if it is not an E-Torx like many other ones in your vehicle.
Update:
Here is a video worth watching

It seems like a hex head which hints someone else has been there before
, and likely lost it. Hopefully did not break it, nor glue-welded anything either.Do you have the E8 socket for Torx? Let say someone damaged the head a bit, you may try adding something in the front of the E8 socket, and tap it lightly on top of the bolt until it feel tight, then unscrew it.
If it is not Torx anymore, It has to be either metric, or SAE. Do you have all metric from 6->11mm? and all SAE from 3/16->3/8 ? I cannot imagine which other size it can be. It is definitely clockwise to loose it viewing it as in the photo. Be patient when trying to lose it.
Update: adding a chart with specs for different bolt sizes
and for hex-headed bolt
To replace an E8 (either M6 or M7 threaded bolt), someone needs a 10mm or 11mm hex-headed bolt.
