My 2008 E550 Panorama Roof has been running fine, not used that often, serviced regularly at the dealer, so I believe they have been lubricating.
I had to change the battery, and a day later I went to open the roof, it did the stop/start/stop to open, so I believe I synced it correctly.
Today I went to close it, and when it got to the close position, the drivers side remained up and unsealed and the passengers side is closed. Now I tried reopening, and closing and tilting nd I am getting the machine gun rattling noise, s I have not doen anything, hoping there is someone that can help me and tell me what to do?
If anyone knows how to get it closed as I cannot invest into repairing it, I would really appreciate the instruction.....I opened up the rear view mirror trim and was able to change the washer, now it moves slightly back and forth, I dont want to break it further so I didnt try it...any hope this is not the rails?
