320 CDI wagon - aircondition issue.

I just need a little help, gent's.

The aircondition is completely crazy - left side no cooling, only outside air.
Right side, nice chilled air.
The center console down between the front seats and to back seat very hot air.

Where should I start troubleshooting?

Where you should start is by scanning the HVAC AAC Module for a fresh list of faults.

Then you review every Temp sensors and pressure data using scanner.

"Low refrigerant".… that means leak!

In AC system leaks are not easy and nor cheap to repair well the first time.

Do you know how to use a UV die or gas detector to help locate discharge location ???

The AC workshop said it's quite normal that aircondition systems losses a bit of refrigent, in general it's good to go for a check and top up every second year, they told - I've got a top up of refrigent, and now everything goes well, and no leaks found.

Right now the aircon shops are swamped... go in January and they'll start replacing expensive components.

Your AC shop can't locate your leak... then find it yourself!
Simply look for oily stains near your AC circuit loop.

Yes this is very true. I had a BMW that was 11 years old and the AC wasn't very cold. After adding Freon it ran ice cold for years - no leaks ever were found.

lots of vehicles have slow leaks at the compressor shaft seal, UV dye is the only way to find very slow leaks.
how much did the shop charge to top off your system?
