Headlight low beams are flickering on and off
I’m working on a 2008 E350. Both low beams won’t stay on. They are flickering on and off.
The high beams stay on, no problem.
They are factory halogen headlights.
Anyone know what the problem may be?

What's is odd is they are usually on separate circuits to readily disfunction individually.
- individual GND
- individual Power
- nothing common
++++ WAIT.... ALTERNATOR: short brushes!!!
Check live voltage under load near 14v or below 12V ??
You can use a scanner to read that data.

Are the bulbs ok? Best guess is probably wiring. Also check the wires inside the headlight housing. These can become brittle over time due to heat/cold cycles over the past +10 years
