Trading E 500 for CLS 500
Ordered a CLS 500 a couple of weeks ago to replace my 04 E 500. Any other E owners making the move? Not much reason to trade unless you really, really like the style, or want a Jaguar-like quantity of wood facing you, or just have to have the very latest thang. All valid reasons, but not for me.

Surely the E-class is a vehicle more for the family man who requires comfort for both front and rear pasengers. The CLS on the other hand is more for the 'CL' brigade that want the option of four doors for the occassional rear passengers.
I personally prefer the looks of either the SL or CL, sadly though there is no space for our 'pooch'
Good luck with your trade in,

“A fat four-door coupé? Crazy idea… but it might just work.” So Top Gear magazine says of the distinctly unconventional Mercedes CLS driven for the first time in the current issue. "
rtriley45 knows what he likes and good luck to him, it has a distintive design and like he says "I want more of a coupe look.."
Go for it

Good luck with your decision, I'm sure it will pan-out just fine for you....
I like how it looks though

If it offered more leg room for rear passengers and slightly extra width then I would definitely consider it.
