Problem with AC
I have one re-emerging problem with my w211 air conditioning and I`m out of ideas what to do.
1. day to day AC is kind of disappointing, passenger side ac is nice and cool, driver side is just air, not warm not cold, just air.
2. Main problem that happens time to time ( Mostly in summer when I try to use cool AC) it would randomly start blowing scary hot air on driver side and rear at max speed ( passenger side usually remains cool and fine)
I replaced heater control valve but problem seems to remain, I went to refill AC refrigerant, surprisingly there was too much pressure, but it overall seemed to be fine, haven`t changed AC compressor, but it seems to work just fine, pipes get cold ect.
I`m kind of lost here, I don`t know where to look further, nothing from fault codes.
has anyone faced similar problems? what could be culprit?
Car: W211 2007 Facelift Mercedes-Benz E320 Cdi 4matic ( and it is Avantgarde if that should make any difference)
I`m kind of suspecting air flap blend door actuator now since only one side has this problem and other side works just fine, so I`m guessing heater valve or similar can`t be the problem since that would affect both sides if I`m correct. Maybe this one is broken or there is some sort of electrical fault, old cars like that tend to have stupid problems with connectors. I`ll try to get to it later this week.
If I find what turns out to be the problem, I`ll update it here.

Instead of guessing you want to simply read the various temp. sensors located near air outlets.
Go ahead and connect your $150 scanner to read A/C Control module data.
As far as refrigerant load, less is better. When you overfill the circuit, it keeps the low side pressure too high because compressor is unable to pump more into liquid side.
