Random Shutdown Behavior




It must be high up the power supply tree like the main relay itself.
not the ALT
not the Battery
not the main GND.
If a branch was getting powered down, the other modules would log faults on missing partners.
Absolutely nothing gets logged on any network. No fault ie. better than factory new.
FYI: older faults should be recorded as either active or stored.

BTW, all stored or active faults can be cleared by the DAS/Xentry software leaving no record. If you see the thread, the car did throw some wiper related codes some time ago, but they were cleared at that time. What you are seeing now is the current state of the car which has not thrown any codes since, maybe, the last six months or more.

Try to get a leg up on what crashes your whole system so quietly : prefuse + SAM.
Bumper radar harnesses can do a number on engine ECU shutdown/start if so equipped.
You don't have manu hints available...
