No more LMT for 2004

LMT was a MB event that was held in major cities in 2004. You could only get the coupons at those events.

I would wait for the E350. The engine/transmission changes will be worth the extra $$$. And depreciation will be less since it is an '06, more than making up for the difference in discount.

Did I miss the boat?

Hello folks,

I'm new to the forum and am looking at an E320. I may not be able to wait for an E350. But, I'm worried that I have missed the window for the prices mentioned in this thread. Have all the E320 dealer incentives expired? Is it still possible to get below "published invoice?" Also, does anyone know when the dealer's office month ends (I'm in Portland Oregon)?

Thanks in advance. NWmb

What type of lease payments are they offering?

Hey guys, new to the forum.
I just purchased a 2005 E320, Pewter, with sunroof, entertainment, appearance in early January from Benz of Oakland for $7400 off the sticker price.
I know it's not the lowest among the forumers, but close enough for me. Cheers.

I bought my 2005 E500 in SoCal (factory ordered - April delivery - with Cars Direct.com) for $5,485.00 under MSRP and $1,600.00 below invoice. MSRP $64,800.00, purchase price of $59,315.00 - Premium Pkg, Appearance Pkg, Active Ventilated drive dynamic seats, Rear Seat Pkg (60/40 split folding w/ski sack).

Just as a quick question to everyone reading this thread. When you all state MSRP you are actually stating what is listed on the sticker that was on the window of my car as "Total Retail Price" right?

In other words Base Price (2005 E500 /$56,900) + all Packages, Options, Destination and Delivery.

Just something I've always been unsure about.

Yes, that is what I posted - base price, plus options/packages + destination and delivery of $720.00 = MSRP.

Cool
I was also posing this question to all. Not picking on you in particular Sacguy.

My 2005 E500 purchased November '04 had an MSRP $63,010.00. Final Sales Price out the door $56,400.00 and I got them to throw in set OEM Illuminated Door Sills and Wood/Leather Steering Wheel on the house. $6,610 off MSRP + $1,097 for Steering Wheel + $450.00 for the set of sills. So it's more like $8,157.00

My Moms 2005 E320 which I negotiated for her 2 weeks ago had an MSRP of $55,400 Final Sales Price out the door was $48,500. $6,900 off MSRP.

Not the easiest purchases I've been through, 7 hours negotiation on the E500 and about 5 hours on the E320 both purchased at MB of Laguna Niguel. I think the negotiation on E500 may have gone a little quicker if I wasn't younger. Thats why my second time in the store in 3 months buying the E320 went a little smoother, although the sales managers where definitely trying to recoupe some of the money they didn't get from my previous car.

It's all good times though I see it as a fun day out of the house with the ultimate prize being driving home a new Mercedes.

Hi....I did not think you were picking on me! You sound like a very good negotiator and you definitely got a great deal on your E500. I may have been able to get more off by going to the dealer in SoCal myself, but It was not convenient for me as I am 500 miles away. The best price I could get in Sacramento was $2,100.00 higher ($500.00 over invoice) and forget the ordered car, in stock only w/options I did not want.
The prices seem to have firmed up a bit, as the supply of E500's is low in CA, could hardly find any silver ones. I could have gotten a much better deal on an 05 E320 - probably around $8,000.00 off sticker, but I just had to have the V8 and the airmatic suspension, plus the exact options I wanted on the car :-)

Brav-

Thanks for the compliments.
Not to thread-jack but here you go. This reminds me I need to take some nice "Sunny Day" pictures, but I figure this is a start.

Oh and believe me the wheels are picked out, HRE 549R's. I actually was considering your offer to buy your wheels off you as they seem really close to the 549R's I don't know if the offer still stands I remember you posted somewhat of a feeler for interest in buying them off you. Three things hold me back from spending $4-5k on wheels: Christmas, getting married in 1-2 years, looking to sell my place and get into a bigger home.

Anyway PM me regarding your wheels.

Wow those are some great deals.

I personally hate going to dealerships and haggle with salesman. But I ended up buying a 320 yesterday from House of Imports in Buena Park (mbz.com). My experience with them when we were shopping back in late 90's were horrible. Rude sales people, pressure sale, etc. But saw a lease special of $5K down $339/month on 05 E320 priced at around $51K. Decided to give it a try.

Of course they didn't have any more base model at $51K. But the salesman (very nice guy) says they can sell anything in inventory at the price listed in carsdirect.com. I had a price quote from MB of Laguna Niguel in hand hoping to use it as negotiating weapon, but turns out the carsdirect price were way below those quotes. So we ended up buying one at $7K off sticker. Not as good as the $10K deal listed above, but it's what they had and we needed a car now.

Thanks for sharing all the good deal sources. Should have read this before going into the dealer.
