Dan, Could you possibly send to me the above mentioned TSB. I think my Engine #272980 31573692 may be experiencing that knock mentioned.
Any assistance would be helpful.
Thanks, Rich
LI09.40-P-061542 MAY15 – All models with engine 276DELA (E400) rattling noise from the engine area under partial load, noise is normal. Valve disk of the wastegate in the turbocharger vibrates in the valve seat, when the wastegate is slightly open (partial load operation) and causes a rattling noise. The actuation of the wastegate can be changed via Xentry so that it remains closed for longer in partial load operation together with SCN coding of the engine control unit however, this change can lead to light hissing noises from the turbocharger.

It seems that last time even when I used paddle shifters to shift up, the indicator showed a higher gear, but it didn't seem like it.
Have read that there are problems with the 722.9 NAG2 (7G-Tronic) transmissions, but not sure which I have. The Data Card shows 722906 02 473909 for a 2010 E350 with Oct. 2009 build date.
Haven't really noticed it in my other driving.
Thanks!
My experience is that the so-called "transmission learning" may not be helpful at all.
Over the 4.5 years of my 2011, I have on multiple occasions complained of hard (fear of damage) shifts when going up a gentle rise. No fault is ever found, of course, but usually the transmission is reset to default and the problem is gone. Then, over the months, the damn thing "learns" my driving and starts pounding the transmission again!!! I then go through the same cycle with service. I'm sure this would be different for each individual driver.
I wish I could get a reset and then turn off "learning!"

My '14 E250 (40K miles) had the intermittent PB warning lamp issue, which I never seen, but the wife did a few times. Of course I blamed it on her touching the PB somehow. Anyway, my dealer did work on it and replaced the relay as indicated. Still testing this fixed, since it was an interment issue.
Interesting enough the service tech also has a '14 E350 which he also stated his wife noticed this issue, yet he never had. Guess we got to trust our wives a bit better when they tell us the strange happenings and gremblem's
