Fair enough I guess. Personally I would never post in or even read a forum unless I was looking to buy the car (as I am considering with the E-Class) or at least was a huge fan (in my case that would be Porsche Turbos and MB SL 55'/65's).
Just wondering if I was missing some background. Thanks for the reply!

Jabber On
I just like to car jabber. I don't think my "putdowns" to the car are childish or confrontational. I simply respond to these convos with my thoughts and the reasoning behind them. This being a new model I'm more intrigued to see what's going on in this section. I also give credit to the cars strog points when they come up as well.
Many of the discussions are opinions and respected disagrements between passionate folks.

I'm a newbie coming to/from the dark side (depends on your view) of 25 years in BMWs. I'm moving from a 2004 X5 (keeping a 2002 330Cic for weekends) to an E350 as a daily driver. Save for my red ragtops, I've stayed with bronze-tone colors for my 5 series cars. The exchange here helped move out of my comfort zone to an Indium Grey E350; should be here by end of September.

This link will probably die as soon as the car is sold, so check it out as soon as you can. Once again, I have no idea what kind of dealership this is, I just found that they have a superb website full of lots of pictures. The Quartz Blue seriously pops, I thought it would look too Hyundai but I stand corrected. I think I would have paired the Quartz Blue with the Natural Beige interior though, but the outside does look good, dare I say the best color I've seen yet.

I guess it's a love it or hate it thing.
One thing that definitely isn't a love it or hate it thing.... is the front end of that white W221 to the left of the Blue E in that picture ^^ M-B really nailed it with the F.L W221 front end: clean, sharp, tight and cohesive.

I think the front of the E's are REALLY nice and the reason I am looking at them. Not real fussy about the back end, but I like them overall. The Coupe is a whole different ball game. But since it does not have AWD it dropped off my map anyway.

You really don't care for the E's do you?

Yeah I suppose the Quartz Blue will be a love it or hate it color, most likely why thats the first one I've seen and will most likely be a rare car due to the fact the dealers won't be ordering it only on special orders. In a sea of White, Black and Silver, the Quartz Blue jumps out, its the first time I've actually noticed a car scrolling through their page. I think it really brings out the lines of the car.

I would love to see one in Capri Blue. I hope it's a really dark metallic blue. Might be nice.
Found a GLK in Capri Blue, and I like the color...

Not a fan of this blue, or the fact I still immediately think "Hyundai" when I see the rear end on this car. Sorry it just jumps out at me like there is no tomorrow. A MB should be a MB from every angle (wrong thread I know so I will stop).

I like the exterior color, but what where they thinking about that interior?
I have yet to see a decent interior. Whats up with all the competing/contrasting colors? I've seen the same quartz blue with ash interior, and it looked like that as well. One of those has to be wrong. At any rate, can't believe they destroy the car with such an ugly 3rd world looking interior.
