Contents of W212 tool kit??

Has anyone checked out the contents of the W212 tool kit? I was wondering how it compares to the W211 tool kit.

Interesting question. All I know is my 211 tool kit pales in comparison to my old 220 S-Classes tool kit.

W212 tool kit

The reason I asked, was that I could not find any tool kit in the W204 C-class that I checked out and I was wondering if the same was true for the W212.

Oh, in that case than it should definitely have a tool kit (unless M-B cost-cut it out or something, but I doubt it). Yeah I'd assume the C-Classes wouldn't come with a tool kit though.

The 204 did not have any tools or you did not find any tools?

This is what the 204 should have (depends a bit on options), the 212 looks very much the same but the site does not support the model:

I guess it would be more accurate to say I could not find the tools. This was the first dealer demo on the lot when the W204 was introduced, so that could explain the missing tool kit. Nevertheless, I am still interested in knowing what is included in the W212 tool kit.

The tools vary depending on the market (at least). Here a list of tools from one example car:

jack
chock
hazard warning triangle
filling (for tyre fix)
tire pressure compressor
pocket for documents
first aid kit
pin (for wheels)
combination wrench (for wheel bolts)
eye (tow-hook)
gloves.

This one does not have the spare wheel. I guess you were more after the content of the "actual tool box", at least no screw driver or fork spanners any more (nothing to help other drivers with, these tools would not help fixing the MB anyway). Spare fuses must be located at the fuse box.

Some other tools like the hook for head restraints reactivation or manual sunroof operation are not part of the tool kit.

This seems to be pretty much the same with the W221, spare fuses are at the tool box and an additional tool for releasing the electric parking brake more or less being the only difference.
