They gave it to me for a few days to check out, and I took a lot of pics.
Enjoy it.
Although I'm not sold on the appearance, it drove nicely.

Damn, must be nice to get a little try-out E550 from M-B.
I don't think it's much of a looker myself, but think it does drive great. How do you feel it compares in overall ride-smoothness and absorbing, quietness, isolation, etc. to your W220?

I would say smoothness is marginally better, but I tend to believe that the AWD drivetrain adds a touch of vibration.
Cabin isolation I would consider worse, but only at a level only enthusiasts would notice. I noticed more wind and tire noise in the 212 cabin. Also, the car I drove had some whistling around the door seal between 40 and 70mph.
Ride quality was quite good for such low profile tires. The 220 is definitely a bit softer, but the 212 handled road irregularities quickly and without much cabin impact.
Cabin appointments are pretty good, but not brilliant. Then again, I have high standards. I also heard some resonance from the navigation surround.
Steering was lighter but the fat steering wheel was nice. I also tend to think my 220 steering is a bit heavy.
Overall, a very nice driving car. But I didn't feel upset getting back into my 5 year old 220, and I didn't get the "gotta have it" feeling form the 212.
Still, for a mid priced lease car, its hard to do better.
Oh, and the 273 motor is leagues above the M113. Like no contest.

Does your E550 sport have metal pedals or rubber pedals?
To get metal pedals, what option needs to be ordered on E550 sport?
