I dont know about this... To me, it looks almost exactly like the CLK.

somehow E coupe always looks better in person. you have to get right angle to make this car look good in picture. i'd say it's nice looking so far...

There is a similarity between the cars,after all the CLK is close cousin of the E and both cars are MB. With that being said I think it's a stunning convertable and looks very sharp.

+1 on Solora, though w/ a sports package, LOL.

FWIW, I still like my 95 E320...it's not fast, but there's no hurry when driving mine.
when the weather is 78 degrees and top is done, life is good.

I always like the coupes better but understand the need for open air.

I guess they couldn't do a hard top due to size?

The thing is that the new E Coupe and Cabrio are based on the CLK chassis which was based on the C chassis. Therefore, they're several inches smaller than the Sedan, and I think, they have more similarities to the C Class than they do to the classic E class.

Size shouldn't be a problem. Look at Volvo C70 convertible and 3er Ci. Both of them are 4 seaters with hardtop.

I guess if they make the E convertible into hardtop, less people are going for the SL or CL?

It looks like a chrlyster sebring with the top up to me haha
