Problem with Garage Door Opener

I have lost the programming of my garage doors now three times. MB told me at first that I must have deleted it by mistake. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then my wife lost the settings, again I gave them the benefit of the doubt that she deleted it, today I left the garage and when I returned home, the garage door opener would not work. I lost the settings again.

I stopped in at the MB dealership and they are aware of the problem now and are searching for a fix.

I had the same problem last week. Have had the car since Oct and it lost the garage settings in end of Dec - I re-programmed it. If it happens again, will have to take it to the Dealer.

Yep that has been one of my problems. The dealer said they reflashed the software and the problem has not come back....

Mine was lost on Sun Jan 10, 2010. There is no evidence of accidental deletion. It worked fine from July 09 to Sat Jan 09, 2010. I re-programmed it on Sun Jan 10, 2010 by using the remote alone without using the learning switch on the motor. First time in July 09, I used the learning key on the motor.

Mine has also failed three times. After the second time, the dealer told me to clear and re-program. It has happened once since then. There is obviously a software glitch for so many of us having the same problem.
