Fog lights wont turn on!!!
My fog lights don't turn on when my headlights are on. They work fine as daytime lamps, but as soon as my headlights go on, they go off. I tried to turn my lights to the furthest option to the right and pull out. I can see the light go on in my dashboard but the lights aren't on. Any idea why this happens?

My 212 with Xenons and the "hockey stick" lights does not have the pull out light knob like all the other MB's I have had in the past. The light switch in fact does not have an off position, just Auto and far to the right on. There is a switch button to the left of the main rotory knob that turns on the rear fog only. This is a P2 car.

I assumed you have the P2 options. If that's the case, it has nothing to do with the how to turn it on or not. There's a part (module?) that has to be replaced. It happened exactly like this to our C207 and the dealer repaired it.
Now we have the hockey sticks on at night with the headlights again

The hockey sticks are DRL's only and they go out when the headlights come on.
My E350 has the P1 Package (4 round lights) and the fogs can be turned on with the headlights by pulling out on the switch. However, the DRL's go out if the headlights are on-programmed to do that.

To make stuff easier to understand we have to stop calling the LED-DRL:s fog lights, extremely confusing... The fog lights for the W212 with Xenon are bult in in the headlights.

It's described briefly here: http://www4.mercedes-benz.com/manual...ce/index.html#
Click 'Safety -> Intelligent Light system' I think it's around 2:15.
