Hey all!

I need help choosing new 19 or 20" wheels for my upcoming W212 (T-model = S212) E350 CDI 4-matic...



I have decided to NOT going for a lip so the choices are narrowed ..

My question is still the design, mesh, spokes or twin-spokes and color. Either silver or gunmetal ...


my ideas, either E63-look or HRE M40-lookalike,
will not spend 5-8k on wheels this time so my budget will be around 2-3k.

The wheels in the first picture will be used as winter-tires and is the OEM 18" AMG twin-spoke.

If I would change mine I thing I would go for some dark wheels (gunmetal). I was planing on getting the #6 as winter wheels for my car but after reading about cracking replicas I didn't dare to go for it, I went with 17" OEM winter wheels which were much more expensive than the 18" replicas. I'm not sure I did the right thing though.

I'm looking forward to see your car!!! Is your designo white the matte white?

Hey Ipp!
When I noticed that Diamond white was selectable on the german site I called my dealer but he told me that no cars will be delivered this year with that color as the lead time is at least 6 months.
Then I looked at the designo colors, first the kaschmire matte white (magno) , looks great in some pictures - but really dull in direct sunlight - plastic .. as I havent seen it in person i didnt dare to choose that color.
I then ordered the mystic white 2 designo color, a couple of hours later my dealer called me and said that he made a deal with MB germany and that they could build my car with diamond white this year with delivery in august. After thinking it through I selected the diamond white instead and added some extra options as keyless go etc.

So outside is not designo - but inside is designo leather (black with white pipings) + pianoblack instead of wood.

I think it will look nice.

Regarding the color is so hard - if there was a car in magno here in stockholm I would definitly go see it maybe change my mind again.

I have probably changed my mind 10x since my order, which resulted in getting a 2011 instead of a 2010 because designo was not availible in 2010 S212-model haha.. also changed from a CDI 220 to a CDI 350 4-matic

Here is one kaschmire matte white in Uddevalla. Maybe a bit far from Stockholm though...

Either way, you can't go wrong with diamond white...

Those wheels show a lot of brakes... great if you have an AMG, but not so great with the standard brakes IMO.
