Bulbs, ballast's, plug n play wiring...install is happening in NJ. I already swapped out the High Beams myself with Ultra Bright (white) H7 bulbs. This will be just for the Regular Beams. I regret not getting the P2 Xenon package, but this is the best aftermarket option. We will see (no pun intended).

Nice, I'm sure it'll look a lot better than the stockers.
O/T, but I just noticed that the small/inner lights on the P2/HID cars are also a projector type of light, whereas the P1 halogen lights come with a normal bulb situation in there (you can notice the visual difference when the lights are off or on).
Are you changing the inners as well? I wonder if they even make a bulb for those.

I would just be concerned about warranty issues with doing something like this....if there is any type of electrical issue on the car I could see MBUSA saying it was because of the modification.

Well...I got my HID Xenon's installed today in NJ (Lightwerkz). They did a great job. The installers Jay and Julian were real pros and took good care of my car and really knew what they were doing. They had to add 2 capaciters to eliminate flickering, but I had no error codes or faults. I'm very, very happy with the outcome. Nice bright, focused white light that now matches the color temp. of my LED'S. Superior output to the OEM halogin. If you can order P2...Go for it. If you have a P1 and regret not having xenon's...go after-market HID.

Hey King- The 2011 P1 Sport comes with the hockey sticks standard (kind of ironic since I coach hockey)

LOL! Wow, very unique idea, I'm very intrigued by your coming up with these different styling nuances for your car. Please do send me pics of it! I'm eager to see how it looks!

Now I understand why you did the lights - it would bug me also if the DRL were super white and then low beams were different. Thankfully with the luxury P1 I have the DRL set to off and at night, the low beams and the fog lamps at night match. They are not super white, but good enough for me not to risk an electrical problem. Also, if I did the low beams then they would not match the fog lamps.

get i have the info of the guys that installed the HID's for you. I'm looking to do mine, but heard that you need error code eliminators and all sorts of stuff. Also did you but HID in your fogs?
