I got it and I love it
I took delivery of my car today 
- 2011 E350 Luxury, Palladium Silver, Black Leather, Burl Walnut, etc etc.
I am now officially in love with Mercedes Benz. LOL. This is my first MB and although I'm an old guy (47), believe it or not, it's the first brand new car I've ever purchased. Here are a couple of pictures (sorry, they're really bad because they were taken with an iPhone and I was too excited, I wanted to drive it rather than take pics!). I'll have to take some better pictures soon.
I read the manual before the car arrived but wow, I really need to study it a bit in order to figure everything out! I've had it for exactly 12 hours and I've been doing a lot of driving. It's a great car. I'm trying really hard not to obsess about it too much -- and so far failing. (lol).

There was a note in the OM (it is a bear, isn't it?)
that the backup display would have lines in it depending on production date. Does yours have the lines in the display? That was one of the things that I missed when I ordered the car in Phase 1 production.

Congrats. The Luxury front end with the more-fitting-to-the-Luxury straight-across LED's, with the Sports 3-Slat grille looks great!

Congrats. I've got a 2010 Pallidum Silver Luxury.
Read Operator's and COMAND manuals throughly and make notes. Also, don't be cautious about calling or e-mailing MBUSA with questions.
One thing I learned that was not in my manual was that when using the Music Register and voice control, say "Next Folder" to change folders. On mine the list that comes up on the screen does not show this as an option.

Thanks for all the great comments I've been a little slow to reply because I've been driving... a lot. 
I didn't get the optional wood/leather steering wheel. I thought about it but in the end decided against it. I don't have the lines in the backup camera display. My car was produced during the week of 09/21 if that helps.
It's the luxury version, so it gets the straight LEDs now. I think the sport version still gets the hockey sticks.
I'm definitely loving it.
Good advice, thanks. I definitely need to read the COMAND manual. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the things I can do with it yet. Also, good tip on the Music Register, thanks

I've been a little slow to reply because I've been driving... a lot. Congratulations! Your car has almost the same specifications (paint color, trim, etc) as mine except I have the E550. The Distronic grill is certainly a differentiator on the luxury trim. Did you get the optional wood/leather steering wheel?

Looks very nice. Have never seen a Luxury P2 with the straight LED's. Looks good (even though I actually chose to NOT get the P2 package because I wanted the four round 'traditional' round lights up front with my luxury package).
