New look of my baby

Driver's side tips look not aligned properly but it's just the angle of the pic...

Ooh, not feeling that personally. Need some better angles though. They seem really big, and the round shape doesn't coincide with the angularity of the W212 to me. However, if you like 'em, then they're good for your car!

I was crunching down when taking the pic so the tips seem a little too big from that angle.
I think it looks better in person

Nice, looks a lot better from the other angles. For some reason they looked really oddly huge in that first one.

The 212 is so angular and uses so many sharp shapes, it takes second for my eyes to get used to the juxtaposition and contrast of the two shapes, but I think it looks good.

I think having a V6 and exhausts bigger than the Space Shuttle is really silly looking. I mean, I feel what you're trying to do and personally I covet the E63 pipes....and it may just be the angle as others suggest.

Yeah, I think it was the angle. The "bazooka" look is never good, especially on a classy car like this, lol.

E63 pipes are an odd confusion of round and trapezoidal, I actually don't like them so much myself. It seems like getting a proper pipe-tip on the 212 isn't easy if it's not a complete trapezoidal look.

I knew this "riced out" kind of comments coming haha

These are oval AMG quad tips replica, so they shouldn't be any bigger than the ones on OEM C63 or W211 E63.

I'm not offended by negative comments so let me know what you guys think!

I wouldn't say you are riced out- they by no means look coffee can-ish. I think k-a was more articulate than I when commenting on the oval vs more angular shape. I think what I like about the factory amg pipes for the 2010 e63 are the square/trapezoidal shape. In your case The ovals, combined with the size are more what looks off from my perspective

All this said though- to each his own. If you like it that's all that really counts!!

I think the mod looks fine.

Not to highjack but what would it take to go AMG like?

The car now has a deep 'baby eating' sound at low RPM and it screams at higher RPM. No drone or raspy sound.

Not feeling it, but this is coming from a guy with a Luxury (seems like the debate of sports vs. luxury is like trying to argue chevy vs. ford...). If you are gonna do that to the pipes, you should at least de-badge the trunk and get rid of the E350. Could see the mod being not so 'out of place' on an E550, but don't think it belongs on an E350 with a V6.

My opinion is the sharper body angles of the W212 are best suited with the angular tips also.

Trapezoidal...isn't that a winged dinosaur. My bad that's a (P) silent taradactile (Ptaradactile). Close though.

Your pipes look good!!!

Question: What % tint do you have on your car there?

I think it looks pretty good. Personally, I'd say debadge the E350 and 4Matic. The modded look with bigger tips needs the sleek look.
